Hi Everyone – I’m back, your guest “new to the blog world” and honey loving blogger. So I have been thinking a lot lately (I sure have time given the state of the world right now) what Mother’s Day truly means to me. As I poke around Rosie Honey’s website thinking of which infused honey I would get for my mom or what my mom would gift me with from the honey world – It got me thinking. What does Mother’s Day truly mean to me. As this will be my second Mother’s Day as a mom but many Mother’s Day as a daughter – things sure does change once I became the mom and boy it has not been easy. Yup I have a baby boy – gregarious, smart and picky eater.

This seem to be the epitome of parenthood with kids under 5. As I watch him grow and discover the world through his mouth -I am struck by how big of a job motherhood/parenthood is and always will be no matter how old the child or children are. No book, blog, friend or advice can prepare you for what the day to day is like with a soon to be 2year old. So motherhood to me is unpredictable, an unexpected abundance of patience and love. This, of course is nothing new to all moms(parent(s)) out there – this is not earth shattering stuff but what I am learning to embrace with my “mom” status is that everyday is mom day because this role is just too large to fit into one day, this is truly a lifelong role – No on or off buttons here, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
